Teaching Redefined

19th May - Wednesday Our first session was handled by Meekha ma'm and finally we completed our Reading and Reflection discussion with Mahima's Kite Runner.  After that, Anooja gave an introduction on the topic Bloom's Taxonomy. It is an important topic, thus ma'm divided a big essay into little chunks and divided it amongst us. After Anooja introduction, ma'm asked a few questions.   Up next was Maya ma'm class and the seminars continued. 20th May - Thursday Our online classes began with Dr. Joju John and today is his birthday. Sir began his session with the relevance of Dodo bird and  Dodo tree and their extinction. After that we continued with our seminar presentation from Physical science optional.  Our second session was handled by Ancy ma'm. Other than Joju sir, 2 students, namely Devika and Priyanka (English optional) had their birthdays. So ma'm asked us to turn on our audio and to wish them. Thus we sang ...

17th May - Monday The day began with the inauguration of Malayalam Association. Most respected novelist Dr. Deepu P Kurup, was our chief guest. The program was coordinated beautifully and I really appreciate team Malayalam optional. Up next was a session with Giby ma'm and she continued with her Q&A session.  By 8pm we had another programme - the inauguration of Mathematics Association and they opted YouTube as their medium. They showed a beautiful video and even organised a game related to it. Hats off to the whole team. 18th May - Tuesday  Our first session was handled by Joju sir and he began his class with a beautiful and inspirational thought. He also introduced a new time managing concept called Time Boxing which famous personalities like Elon Musk and others use (it means - cut your works into tiny bits and finish one-by-one, instead of stressing over the whole thing).   Then we continued with our seminar presenta...

12th May - Wednesday Our first session was handled by Joju sir and Mathematics optional continued with their presentation. Up next was a session with Giby ma'm and she asked presenters to frame questions. These people were assigned to upload an audio clip of their ppt.  I was not feeling well today, so I had to leave the class amidst.  14th May-Friday Our first session was handled by Meekha ma'm and at first we discussed on a few general things and then continued with the Reading and Reflection. Megha presented her work, but it was not at all audible and she couldn't share her PPT.  Up next was a session with Joju sir and Social Science optional presented their seminar. That's all for this week.. Government extended their lock-down till 23rd May, and Trivandrum will be having triple lock down from 16th.  On one side we have this pandemic and on the other side this climate.. Mother nature is fierce.. Hopefully this too shall pass.. ...

7th May-Friday Next work issue is now becoming a wee bit like a headache now.. You get ready for class and the Internet refuse to cooperate. Today out teacher (1st hour - Ancy ma'm) had some issues and couldn't take class. But she asked us to go through the PPT on Aristotle. Up next was optional class and we continued with our Reading and Reflection discussion. Priyanka - My Story  by Kamala Das. My network was slow and I couldn't really see the PPT she presented. Today afternoon, we got a special session with Ms. Vanidevi as part of our Psychology Club and ma'm talked about Stress Management. 11th May - Tuesday Principal sir gave us a day off (10th May) to complete our pending works. On 11th, first we had a session with Ancy ma'm and she taught us on Aristotle. Next we had a session with Joju sir and today Maths department took their seminar.

5th May - Wednesday First we had a session with Ancy ma'm and today it was her anniversary. I had network issues and was having trouble staying connected. Today we learned on the topic Aurobindo Ghosh.   Up next was our Optional class and Uthara took One Part Woman as part of Reading and Reflection discussion.  My network gave me such a big headache. My network kept on disconnecting.  I could hear her, but could not see the presentation. 6th May - Thursday First hour was handled by Joju sir and he began with a inspirational thought. And our seminar session continued. Today Maths optional enlightened us on the topic Cyber crime. Next hour was taken by George Thomas sir and we practiced Yoga. Last it was Giby ma'm hour, but she did not teach anything at that hour, but later uploaded an audio stating that we shall continue our seminars via WhatsApp. 

At first we had a session with Meekha ma'm and at first we discussed regarding our association programme that our class conducted for the English Language Day. Then we continued with our Reading and Reflection discussion; Gayatri discussed on the novel A Thousand Splendid Sun. Next Giby ma'm came and from then we started the Howard Gardener's Multiple Intelligence (MI) theory. I presented first as I was dealing with the Introduction part, followed by Uthara. 4th May - Tuesday Finally our English association programmes results were declared.. Congrats to all the winners and the other participants, good job.. Hats off 👏👏 Our first session was handled by Joju sir and we continued with our seminar. Next we had a session with Maya ma'm and social science optional continued.

29th April - Thursday Today we had only one session with our Physical Education teacher Dr. George Thomas. Sir made us do a few warm-up exercise and a few breathing exercise.  30th April - Friday Our classes began with Dr. Joju John Sir and we continued with our seminars.  Today we learned that our friend Biji (Natural Science) met with an accident and i pray to the almighty for her speedy recovery. Next we had a session with Maya ma'm and Social Science optionals took the seminar. They discussed on the Caste system. Finally ma'm reviewed and gave a good feedback.
