8th Jan.. Day 3 :: Orientation

The day began with a prayer in the college Chapel.. With almighty's blessings, May everyone prosper
In the first hour we were informed that there would be a 'Talent Hunt' programme and everyone need to bring out their best in it.
Then we had a detailed discussion on Education and the different sub-sections in it. 
Strong minds discuss ideas, 
Average minds discuss events, 
Weak minds discuss people. 
                                     - Socrates
Education is the process of making desirable changes for individual and for the society. 
Change; should be 
-Cognitive
-Affective 
-Psychomotor 
Next we had a fun session with Dr. Giby Vargeese.. She taught us the basic qualifications we need as a teacher. 
The importance of Communication and Social interaction. 
Always be mindful when you speak and develop your speaking skills.
Next we had a beautiful session with Dr. Joju. 
Sir decided to create a new WhatsApp group in which we can share our 'Subha Chintha' and a discussion on our personal blog..
He assigned us a few works like;

3rd February 2021.. Our first saree day

Saree, a handbag, an umbrella in hand.. The first image that comes to your mind when you think of a Malayali teacher.. It was really interesting to see my classmates in beautiful saree (some were experts, yet a few were beginners). During our optional hour we had a class seminar and then we headed to auditorium. We had a session with Dr. Giby Geevargees (on Psychoanalytic theory ), the a session with Dr Joju John. And we conducted our presentation of our group discussion. After lunch we had a session with Dr Maya and then with Dr Ancy. We were all exhausted by the last hour. The final session was handled by Dr George. But instead of games he wanted us to check our BMI.  Then we went to our college canteen to grab a bite and then back to home.

17th & 18th May 2021

17th May - Monday The day began with the inauguration of Malayalam Association. Most respected novelist Dr. Deepu P Kurup, was our chief guest. The program was coordinated beautifully and I really appreciate team Malayalam optional. Up next was a session with Giby ma'm and she continued with her Q&A session.  By 8pm we had another programme - the inauguration of Mathematics Association and they opted YouTube as their medium. They showed a beautiful video and even organised a game related to it. Hats off to the whole team. 18th May - Tuesday  Our first session was handled by Joju sir and he began his class with a beautiful and inspirational thought. He also introduced a new time managing concept called Time Boxing which famous personalities like Elon Musk and others use (it means - cut your works into tiny bits and finish one-by-one, instead of stressing over the whole thing).   Then we continued with our seminar presentation.

7th Jan.. Day 2 :: Orientation

Second day began with Ancy teachers class.. She gave us an introduction on her subject 'General Paper'. Then in the next hour came Dr. Giby Varghese, who would teach us on 'Educational Psychology'. She introduced a new 20-20-20 method used by the famous writer Robin Sharma... Everyday, you should use the first 20 minutes to exercise or to do some stretching.. The next 20 minutes should be devoted to meditate or for prayer and the last 20 minutes to study or to read.. Then we had a session with Dr. Joju.. He enlightened us on many aspects and how we could get over our inhibition and how to be a dynamite teacher. Final hour we had a session for physical education. Sir taught us the difference between Major and Minor games and the whole batch decided to play a minor game as an ice breaking session.
